After an extended hiatus from releasing hefty jams and a relocation to Oakland, Tynan Krakoff’s DNT Records in back in the game with  four new cassettes, two reissues, and a fresh website with incredible artwork by Camille Bryant. The new batch includes:

DNT068 – DJ DJ Tanner “Home Entertainment” cassette
DNT067 – Digital Natives “Long Homesweetened Entry” cassette
DNT066 – Uton “Kun Korallit Puhuvat Pilville” cassette
DNT064 – Bobb Bruno “Black Gel” cassette
DNT043 – Ducktails/Mudboy “Summer of Saucers” split cassette
DNT033 – Bobb Bruno “Clown’s Castle” cassette

You can grip em for $6 each or get the whole mess in a package deal for $30 ($50 along with 4 LPs).

We had our eggheads crunch the numbers from our Top 200 Tapes Of 2013 list with their TI-84 Calculators and here is what they came up with…

 

TOP LABELS
The Top 200 included 125 labels in all. Here are the six with the most releases listed.

SELF RELEASED
Out of the 200 tapes, 8 of them were not on a label.

 

TYPE OF RELEASES
175 of the tapes were of one artist or group, 17 were splits, 8 were compilations.

The Top 200 List includes more than 200 releases. Out of all the entries, 4 of them are multiple releases:
